Fundraising Update: Pacific Farmers Resource & Training Centre

May 2026

Phase One Fundraiser — Vinaka Vakalevu for Standing with Pacific Farmers

Pacific Farmer Organisations is proud to share the results of our Phase One fundraiser in support of the Pacific Farmers Resource & Training Centre — and the results exceeded all expectations.

From a single weekend of events, we raised a net total of FJD $54,228. This remarkable result is a direct reflection of the generosity, solidarity, and shared vision of our Pacific community.

The Events

On 30 April, we hosted our Benefit Dinner, welcoming more than 100 guests from across the Pacific for an evening of celebration, connection, and commitment to Pacific farmers.

On 2 May, our Market Day & Farmers Carnival opened its doors to over 500 attendees, celebrating Pacific farmers, their products, and their stories in a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

Together, both events brought the Pacific community together under one shared purpose — building a lasting home for Pacific farmers to learn, grow, and thrive.

Where the Funds Came From

The fundraiser drew support from a wide range of streams, reflecting the breadth and generosity of our community:

Our Partners & Sponsors

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our partners, sponsors, and donors. Partner and sponsor logos were proudly featured on signage at both events — and that signage will be permanently mounted in the new Resource Centre as a lasting acknowledgement of those who helped build it.

We are deeply grateful to every organisation and individual who contributed to making this fundraiser a success. A full list of our partners and supporters is featured on our event signage and across our social media channels.

Thank You

On behalf of the Pacific Farmer Organisations team and the farming communities this Centre will serve, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt Vinaka vakalevu to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, and championed this cause.

This Centre is being built together — the Pacific way. 💚

We look forward to sharing further updates as the Centre progresses. Follow us on social media at @pacificfarmers to stay connected.
