[ARTICLE] SPC Women in Fisheries Bulletin_Women and the business of aquaculture_Sep 2021
This article describes the challenges and opportunities present for women tilapia farmers in Fiji. Here we describe the need for sex-aggregated data, ongoing technical training, entrepreneurial support and the role of collective action such as Farmer Associations, towards supporting the increasing involvement of women in tilapia aquaculture.
