“From the Pacific Island Farmers Organisation Network, we’re happy to be part of the Farmers’ Organizations for Africa, Caribbean and Pacific – FO4ACP Programme; after year one, we’re thrilled to see what our farmer organisations are doing, reach out to more communities, and  impacting more value chains.

Kyle Stice, the General Manager of PIFON reflects on the successful implementation of FO4ACP Activities by farmer organisation members in the Pacific.

“As we look back, we weren’t expecting COVID-19 and we’re encouraged though to see that the things that our farmers are demanding after COVID, are basically the same things that they were demanding before COVID.”

“The big difference is there’s a lot more farmers who are in need of our services and the services of our members; we just want to encourage everyone to keep the focus on farmers and ensure that we all got our eyes fixed on the goal which is improve livelihoods, reducing poverty and putting more money the pockets of the farmers.”
