Part 1 of the Tutu Rural Training Centre Tour begins with a visit to the various stations and programmes undertaken by its students. Green Pillars takes the tour on the back of a tractor, keep a look out for some of the fresh and nutritious produce grown at the centre!
The 22 part television series is in response to a growing public interest in gardening and farming, and is funded by the Farmers’ Organizations for Africa, Caribbean and Pacific- FO4ACP Programme, a joint partnership between the European Union, Africa Caribbean and Pacific (ACP), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and Pacific Island Farmers Organisation Network (PIFON).
