Goal  : to protect your plant from sunburn

When : as soon as the first flower buds appear

Tool : (1) coconut leaves/other available leaves (2) mulch

PROCESS : 

As soon as the inflorescence buds appear (shown below), shade the vanilla plant with any suitable material and protect the roots adding new mulch to existing old mulch.
