Samoan Noni

Approximately 75% of the Samoan population lives in rural communities with over 130,000 people relying in some measure on the productivity of the agriculture sector. But the sector has performed relatively poorly and has been a constraint on growth for several years. Today larger-scale commercial agriculture is a small component of total agriculture and subsistence agriculture accounts for nearly half of agricultural output.
