Farmer Organisations in the Pacific are working towards a brighter future by incorporating sustainable practices in the fields!
Fiji’s Tei Tei Taveuni was formed by a group of Taveuni farmers with an interest in sustainable farming, soil regeneration, food security, conservation, and environmental awareness. Chairman Alan Petersen, shares how unusable soil can be be rejuvenated to help stop the practice of deforestation while members Peter and Lillian are making the effort to become responsible commercial farmers as their TaveNiu Virgin Coconut Oil hit supermarket shelves around the country.
